The Future of Local Search Marketing


Have you ever heard the phrase "bigger mean smaller"? For many years, businesses were focusing on high search ranking on a global level. With so many websites competing for the same keyword, there is only a few websites that will succeed of receiving a high search ranking globally. More and more companies has taking into fact search engine optimization is a key tool for online marketing. Search engine ranking breaks down into two types, “global ranking and local search ranking . Most people are familiar with global search ranking. Even though global search ranking is a great thing but, there is an down side to it. The down side is local customers. More and more consumers are going online the shop and find things locally. So, what is the future of local search marketing? I believe local search marketing will become two times more important than global search in the next four years thanks to eCommerce.
